FAQs

Should you have additional questions which are not covered below, please contact us via email at info@assyianpolicy.org.

How do I access the conference?

You must first register for the conference. All sessions and events will be accessed from our virtual conference platform. You will receive a link and password along with instructions on how to access each session via email.

Is registration free?

Yes. Registration for the upcoming virtual conference is free for anyone who wishes to attend. There is also an option to reserve a ticket that includes a $10 donation to the Assyrian Policy Institute. Donations are deeply appreciated, but not expected!

Do I have to attend all the events?

No. Though all of the live sessions are critical, we know that Zoom fatigue is really kicking in. While we've done our best to diversify the sessions and create opportunities for attendee engagement, you are free to enter and leave as you please. Don't worry, it won't cause any distractions for our speakers.

Will I be visible to speakers and other attendees?

Day 1 of the virtual conference is view-only, meaning only speakers will appear on-screen. However, Day 2 includes interactive sessions. The use of participant video on Day 2 is optional, but strongly encouraged. Check our event program for any sessions marked with a webcam icon.

Will the live sessions be recorded?

Unfortunately, the live sessions will not be recorded for later viewing.

What is expected of conference attendees?

Ultimately, your conference experience is what you make of it! You can choose to simply watch the sessions, or you can enhance your conference experience by engaging with speakers and other attendees using the chat feature and discussion forums, asking questions during our live Q&A sessions, participating in our workshop, visiting our Virtual Exhibitor Hall, checking out additional on-demand content, participating in live calls to action and giveaways, and more. To help attendees make the most of the upcoming virtual conference, we will also distribute a participant workbook via email to be completed individually throughout the conference. Please note that completion of the workbook is optional, but strongly recommended.
